Song Conditions

I have to point this out, not that it's a surprise, as Song and Lab ownership are terrible. It's a new low though to not report what new snow you've gotten and exclaim it's piling up and look out the window. Then say lake effect is highly variable. So variable you can't go out and measure it at the base of your mountain with a ruler like everyone else does? We just had a huge lake effect storm in CNY and yeah it is highly variable. Why it would be nice to know what you got at the mountain vs having to poke around the Internet and find a source nearby on how much they got and guess.
None of this is surprising as every report is always whatever number of lifts or trails are actually open with "++++++" appended to them when nothing else will open that day. Saying no matter how much snow is expected its going to be a blizzard and there could be feet of accumulations. Saying that snowmaking is cranking everywhere and it's maybe on the bunny hill. I can go on and on...just blatant false advertising to the point it's insulting and how stupid do they think people are (yes people are but this is to an insane level)
Oh yeah and it was how cold this November and December? How much does Song and Lab have open now? Not as much as they should. Look at Greek just down the road...Let's not forget about Toggenburg...
I continue to refuse to give Lab or Song my money until ownership changes and wish other folks would too. It's a shame since they are so close and I drive often 4 hours more to Gore to ski, or go to Greek, or Bristol which are closer but not Song or Lab close, but it's worth it for both the terrain and not to give the shyster of an owner any of my $.

Been going to Song since I got lace-up boots for Christmas as a kid.
It's had ups and downs ever since.
I aim to enjoy every run, find the best, lather rinse repeat

Skied Sog 10:10 to 1.
Low 30s, flat light to start then the sun shined bright, no wind unless ya made it..
All the cord ya could eat was served.
Pulled in and ended unrecognizing my ski buddies older brother who I’ve skied with a lot. He said his brother was with coming with his little grandaughter to have fun skiing with her on the bunny hill.
Also met up with a golfing friend who’s also of tirolean heritage.
Fun 
runs were made by all.
I skied all the open runs with multiple laps on most.
Even stopped later on to snap a couple pics.
