The Mouse Thread

The best way to get rid of them is to seal all entrances to your home bigger than a dime.
A dime is almost 3/4 inch. That's big enough for a rat to get through. Mice only need 1/4 inch. It's almost impossible to seal up your house tight enough to keep rodents out. That's why you need traps and poison.

If your diligent with traps and sealing holes you won't have a mouse problem. Everyone is always going to hang a few. You got to get them soon so they didn't reproduce in your house.

The little rat bastards chewed through the zipper of my Yeti soft cooler to get to some birdseed inside.

I had an impressive dead mouse count the first year I was in this house. Since then, not so much. I'm at 5 so far this year. You'd think I would have gotten more, since e it's been so cold. But no.

Caught one back when it first got cold but hadn’t caught any since.
Just rebaited with fresh cheese yesterday.

I think there might be a rabbit living under the porch or at least goes there to nap.
Lots of rabbit tracks around nearby but have yet to see if they actually do go to under the porch.
