ICE v Electric: Cost and Emissions

I haven't liked Musk since 2018 when he called a cave rescuer a "pedo guy." That's when I knew the guy had serious mental issues. He also claims to be a "free speech absolutist" yet banned the guy on Twitter that reported the tracking info for peoples private jets including Musk's--- So much for being "absolute!" I have such a long list of distain for this guy that started long before 2025.

I'm rooting for BYD to wipe the floor with Tesla.

Best line of the day goes to @jasonwx "...making a (cyber) truck that looks like my LG Fridge" :ROFLMAO:
Lol
The fridge is much nicer and has higher residual.

Y'all know I don't buy individual stocks (got a good reminder why it is against my investing rules when i dropped a little cash on Rivian haha) but BYD would be a good bet, certainly a few years ago (the beauty of hindsight). Buffet I believe has a big position in it, and he certainly knows of the moat against it in the US. Must still have been attractive to him . . . .

I don't think Elon cares what anyone thinks of him.

He could probably run Tesla at a loss for a while, and still be the richest.

I was under the impression that last year was worse for Tesla vs 2024, but still profitable?

I couldn't figure it out with Google. Just keep getting info about the stock price.

Ice maker on my LG stopped working after like 2 years :(
Don't get me started on fridges and washing machines. I bought a good oven from a top brand viewing it as a consumption investment and it has been great. Fridges, unless you drop way too much money, seem designed to last 3-5 years. I can't justify spending the money on that. And I got a speed oven from a high end brand. They probably have paid 2x in service more than what I paid for it, and still won't exchange (I have to give them credit for actually paying to repair it). It oddly breaks on a near yearly cadence. Washing machine no bueno.

I don't think 2025 FY is out yet, at least when I was looking at the page. But yes I think the expectation is for Tesla to still be very much in the black, just not as much.
