Parking in D is out of control. A number of guests were blocked in. The black SUV on the left blocked 3-4 cars alone. They need cones down the center to prevent assholes from blocking others in Tom

According to the trail report, the high peaks chair is running by the only trail to get there is wood in. It does provide an alternate path to the summit, but nothing else. Tom

Must be supply chain problems! Good conditions today. Wild air and tahawas had the best snow. For the weekend, remember that most trails do NOT have wall to wall coverage. With 1-2 inches and flat light it’s easy to ski into dirt and rocks. Enough mother hen. Enjoy. Tom

Fridays can be pretty busy. Not as crowded as a weekend, but sometimes you would wonder. Thursdays are pretty good. Crowds will be very light when it rains! Tom

I skied this morning and conditions were quite good. Wild air was the pick of the day. No gondola movement that I noticed, but they knocked down the whales on fox lair so I would expect some action pretty soon. Tom

If you can swing it, ski Monday. Crowds are much less on Monday. And get to the hill early. Tom

Totally agree. I’ve gotten involved in some local NJ issues and by the time the public can comment the decision has been made. And after the run around a few times you stop bothering, which is also part of the plan. Tom

I usually have a backup stack to use if I run out so I generally don’t worry too much. Using a lot means it’s cold and I’m skiing. Tom

My local ski club just announced a trip to deer valley and they are recommending purchasing ikon base plus pass as likely being cheaper than a 5 day pass. Great deal if you regularly ski ikon mountains but for many others it makes the cost unattractive. Tom
