    Killington Conditions

Concur with sno was a good day. Don't have anything to add really except how fast stuff is melting out. Vertigo was only a few questionable spots yesterday and today was adventure skiing. Cascade was the same by midday. Today ends my east coast season. 31 days (4 out west so 35 total). I'm...

    Killington Conditions

This was the only bummer of today but a minor one. Lapping K1 is not one of my faves but there are much worse things in this world like not getting to have skiied the canyon on a glorious day such as today.

    Killington Conditions

Absolutely. Incredible. Spring Day. Everything skiied beautiful and wasn't too sticky. Great crowd and vibe to. Pond skim was fun to watch. Coverage was great but there were a few hike to spots. Mainly lower Ovation. Besides that and Catwalk very little to worry about as far as hitting stuff...

    Killington Conditions

Headed back for weekend 2. Although going fast still plenty open and reports from today coverage is still good. Will report back as I tailgate in a lawn chair in 70 degree temps with a Focal Banger after the ski day tomorrow.

    Killington Conditions

Back at K today. Equal to yesterday if not better. From the start lapped East Fall which was perfect corn. Then moved to North Ridge and then Needles as they had baked out and got a few Dream maker and Vertigo bump laps in. Once that baked went over to the Canyon and lapped Cascade which was...

    Killington Conditions

Stellar day. Only the Canyon and Superstar north facing runs didn't soften. Was plenty to ski elsewhere. After 6.5 hours of bump skiing my legs had it. Vertigo and Northstar co ROTDs with absolutely perfect moguls. Outer Limits a close runner up. Back at it tomorrow.

    Gore Mountain Conditions

Echoing everyone else stellar day. Warm enough to soften everything but not too warm to turn to slush except lower mountain end of the day. As usual Rumor was my ROTD with great corn and bumps. Everything skiied great though. Killington tomorrow for more stellar skiing.

    Gore Mountain Conditions

Headed there tomorrow and may be my last Gore day. Got K Ikon days to burn and going Sunday and Monday and likely again the following weekend. Should be good day to close it out after a solid 17 other days so far this season.

Where are you skiing this week?

Maybe Gore Saturday but the low temps have me questioning if it'll soften up much even with the sun outside of Topridge. Killington Sunday and Monday.

    Gore Mountain Conditions

Update. At 1:30ish Rumor and Lies got the sticky top layer skiied off and were primo the rest of the day. Both are developing nicely spaced moguls and had copious amounts of corn to harvest. ROTD was Rumor diving in off the spine on the headwall. Pure fun in there and that side of the trail...

    Gore Mountain Conditions

Nice day and sun appeared at 11 but STICKY. Even Rumor like having the brakes thrown on. Getting 2" of snow last night then rain not helping. Still worth it to get out.

    Spring Weather 2023

Looks like a nice dry slot for Gore tomorrow between 11 and 5. NWS isn't really showing it for some reason but all the models are jumping on board. Sun to boot. Looks like a radar and forecast check in the AM and provided things don't change will give it a go.

    Gore Mountain Conditions

Glorious day today skipping work. That is all that needs to be said.

    Gore Mountain Conditions

Think I'm heading up tomorrow as I'm coming down with a bad case of corn flu and only place I can get a prescription is at the Gore pharmacy. Looks like with the sun and high temps in the 40s it should be a good one and worth burning a day off.

    Gore Mountain Conditions

Did the snow make a big difference? Did Platty today instead, which was worth it, but curious how much things improved.

    Plattekill Conditions

Same here. First and likely last day and it was well worth the trip. Was tempted to do Gore as they got some snow but I think Platty was the better call. Perfect spring weather and to echo others. Glorious. Got some great corn harvesting in earlier in the day everywhere. By afternoon it got a...

    Gore Mountain Conditions

I was looking for that all season! I'm not excited for trout season but always thought it was funny. Glad the tradition has survived albeit late for another season

    Plattekill Conditions

What are thoughts on tomorrow? Thinking of heading down. Will be first time in four or five years. Given forecast for sun and highs in low to mid 40s I'm thinking things will soften.

    Gore Mountain Conditions

There's supposed to be warm air aloft which means sleet and freezing rain. Elevation not going to help in that situation as the higher you go warmer it gets. At least that's how the forecast is trending last few updates...
