    Who's on the DL?

Definitely not IME. I’ve been told light use gets the blood flowing to the injury speeding up recovery.

    Bring the Stoke

SoCal was the same. I’d have people literally going into mini road rage’s to get passed me and almost every time I’d pull right up next to them at the next red light. If I can pull off to the side to let people by it’s my move. It’s pretty entertaining watching people hit the gas so hard looking...

    Who's on the DL?

I couldn't agree more. Personal stat goals are kind of silly in the grand scheme of things. I don't pay attention to numbers anymore but it wasn't ever really a thing for me.

    Who's on the DL?

Legit point. After a ski accident injury (ribs/spinal) the year before my mtb crash I went to work and lead a rock work project that left me waking up at night moaning in pain. I had to leave the project early.

    Who's on the DL?

Ya, it sure isn’t as much fun. It took me a good three years to really want to ride my bike again. I won’t ski when it’s crowded. It’s way too dangerous for me and I can’t let go to ski the way I enjoy it. This was what made me decide that I was done with Snowbowl.

    Who's on the DL?

You can’t do anything for bruised ribs or hairline fractures. Being a broke ski bum without insurance I’ve mostly skipped seeing doctors. My last mountain bike crash 5-6 years ago was disturbingly violent. In hindsight I’m pretty damn sure I broke my scapula, ribs, wrist and maybe some spinal...

We are not alone. I don’t believe it’s little green men visiting from Mars. I think it’s far more stranger than even that. I’ve seen the phenomenon on many occasions now. Regardless, it’s totally fascinating and I feel thankful that we still live in an existence where mysteries and unknowns...

For me, that’s just scary to see. Maybe I’m just old but that young man probably won’t live too long playing games like that.

Watching that guy ski is some of the scariest shit imaginable. Gotta love it. It’s unfortunately likely to kill him.

    Old School Trail Maps

Well, they used to. The new maps look nice too. Over the years I've thought that if the east was getting hit real good and I had the extra $ and time that I'd love to do a ski trip out there. I'd try to ski at Plattekill, MRG and Magic in Vt., get a lap on the Thunderbolt in Ma., ski Cannon...
