The Sand Trap: for Players, Hackers and Duffers

🙏 Warp Don’t usually get excited about shooting mid-upper eighties on a normal 125 slope or so but Monday I missed a 6 footer for a 79. 43+37=80 on a 149 slope. Ok we played tee back from the ladies at 5600 yrds, 7k requires too many 3 woods and hate not breaking a hundred. Arthur Hills Double...

Holiday Mountain, NY: 2/26/25 From the Ground Up

Wow the amount of work done @ Holiday since Brownski’s tour last summer is amazing! Funny how a lift made just down the road in Pine Island ( is the Jolly Onion still there?) goes to Virginia for a couple decades and comes back to the Borscht belt. That ‘68 Heron Poma floater nicely painted...

    Retired People: What Surprised You?

Wow great thread, didn’t realize so many here are retired. I’ve had a couple adages I’ve stuck to for decades, “money comes and goes, time just goes”. And “don’t put off till tomorrow what you can do today”. We don’t know how much time we have, live life to the full. I’m glad I made 8 yearly...
