Help legendary ski photographer get book printed!

No, I’ve never met him. He was banned from Teton Village the years I was there. He returned as an ambassador in the mid 2000’s before passing in La Grave.

    Haverstraw Beach, NY: 2/10/25

I saw your post on instagram and I thought I recognized this spot. My first big bike ride as a little kid was going from our house in Nyack on 3rd Ave. to Rockland Lake, around the lake and back. It’s probably not that far but it seemed huge to me at 8 years old. It’s cool you got to ski it!

That’s wild! I only ride in that happy medium zone between 55 to 80. Yes, I’m a softie 😂

Help legendary ski photographer get book printed!

Yeah. I'm extremely honored to be included in his book. Wade was a ski hero of mine since I was a pre teen growing up in New Jersey flipping through the pages of Powder Magazine. I remember seeing his name on some iconic images and thinking to myself, "This guy has it figured out, hanging out in...

Help legendary ski photographer get book printed!

This is worth the purchase if you love skiing, ski photography or the history of iconic ski resort, Jackson Hole. Beyond all of that though Wade is simply just an awesome person that dedicated a lifetime to do his art...

    Going Down Big

I’m feeling the same. I’m glad I had the experiences I did but I’m super stoked to be chilling now. I really don’t want to be injured ever again. The thought of being a young skier in Chamonix scares the crap out of me. That kind of skiing was never my sort of thing.

    Going Down Big

I was hoping you’d enter the chat. I bet you’ve been on some steep terrain like that in Big Sky where there really isn’t much snow between your edges and rocks. The thing about the Rockies is that sometimes that “snow” is all rotted out junk. Man, I hated getting getting on the rot on rock...

Music on this one is a bit rough for me but the line is big. Check out the Maquiseries YouTube page for many more monster lines. This is what I'd call extreme skiing.

Where should New Milo ski next?

Yeah, that’s a dumb policy. My skiing was always heavily influenced by snowboarding culture and style, or I at least thought so back in my younger years. Most of my riding buds have been snowboarders too.

Where should New Milo ski next?

It's by far my most favorite ski area on the east coast and in my top 5 of all time. Camp mentioned Smuggs, it's an awesome EC mountain too but MRG just has that extra something special that makes it stand alone. I'm often surprised by the lack of love for MRG on here as well. I used to...

Where should New Milo ski next?

If there’s one ski area in the east other than Plattekill I’d ski if I had the chance it’s Mad River Glen every time.
