Looks like that Summit cam won’t see a skier in the picture for the foreseeable future. But that means the mountain can concentrate on building the glacier on Wild Air. Good times!

There’s already a service road from Ruby to upper Headwaters, but it starts with a climb past the entrance of Cave Glade. You could route a trail toward lower Headwaters and wipe out a couple of glades in the process. ORDA calls that a win-win.

It’s too short to use as an upgrade of Topridge. It would fit on the North Side, but wouldn’t be fast enough for Sno. Maybe it should just stay where it is.

    1. Long glades are part of what makes Gore unique. We already had one butchered this year. GFY. 2. See #1. 3. Echo is already 50yards wide and was created by emasculating Twister Glade. See #1. 4. We’re not building you a tunnel. Maybe we could have a helicopter on standby for you. Gore is what...

Report says gondola, most unreliable lift on the mountain, down for maintenance (good day for it, almost no one there in the rain), but North Quad keeps chugging along, pausing only to load those pesky little kids.

I didn’t realize how long it had been, but it was 2015 that I was there for a weekend officiating at an event. Then the only restaurants left were Wilderness Inn (now closed) and Hungry Trout. Italian place closed, Steinhoffs closed (been going there since the 70s. Hope the dioramas are...
