I don't know much, but knowing that I don't know much is my superpower (if I have one). One thing I know is, listen to your body. And it almost always will look better in the morning (second one I stole from Colin Powell's 13 rules). Whatever it is.
It will take anyone outside of a chinese co a LONG time to catch tesla, but Rivian has two useful circumstances: they are training AI from basically day one (vs many being software 'rules based' coding for a long time); Rivian is putting Lidar in the R2 (and that makes me think future gen R1s)...
So now there are videos popping: yes not on sale now. But this will be released to Gen 2 R1s (not min or TJs) within the year. Pretty crazy. Not as good as tesla's but the videos are pretty impressive to this Rivian user. So, I think that the new chip will be in the R2 that will ultimately...
public service announcement: collagen peptides are best for connective tissue if in blood when working out, or 80% as good if within 30 min. After that, it is just healthy protein. So, I put it in my pre-run coffee (10g). Sounds wierd, tastes fine.
Price 2500 to buy and lease 50 per month. R1 first gen (my gen) will apparently get a baby version of this (probably because the hardware can't handle it) that will be free. Guessing it has very minimal improvement from my current system because of the hardware limits.
This package will be L4 driving capable (once there is enough data) - "closer to two years than five" to be in use. L4 is the stuff I think where like the car can drop you off and pick you up from the airport. Starting to feel like sci fi. Yes, I know the track record of promises on this stuff.
Interesting: Rivian is training Lidar equipped vehicles at the outset of its AI adventure. Tesla didn't (couldn't) do it because it rightfully started with a code-based assisted driving. One reason why Rivian could do it is the much cheaper (not cheap) cost of lidar at the point in time:
3 mile trail recovery run with a friend coming off a calf injury at a local preserve starting at 6:45 a.m. Cold, but so nice to see the purples coming up with sun rise. Even did a mini bush wack of about 100 feet from a hill back to a trail. Thorns go through running pants pretty easily...
The one thing I am ok with about being put far away for ev chargers is a lower risk of being iced. I think Gore's are reasonable - you gotta walk but it is not like it is lot f or whatever gets far.
YAY. So is this pic the lowest main lot by the lower lodge? I will often park in the slightly uphill lit, just trying to figure out where this is. What awesome news - now I will be able to get up and down without a stop. This looks like a ridiculous amount of slots.
PS I try not to be...
That is very expensive. I haven't checked in over a year, because I have solar and excess electric, but I think if you sign up for time of use you get a fraction of that rate: 0.10. I would consider reaching out to your utility and letting them know you have an EV and asking for your time of...
Harv, if I may (and perhaps it helps I am coming off a broken shoulder), please:
(i) be kind to yourself and let yourself have these emotions - frankly it would be somewhat abnormal if you did not (whatever normal is anyway).
(ii) don't borrow too much emotional pain from the future (as is...
