And do you have a so-called time of use plan? One should be available. For example, from 10 pm to 6 am, my utility charges 25% of what it charges from 3 to 7 pm. So, I don't charge from 3-7 p.m. If I paid off tap, filling up a Rivian (massive battery) would cost like $10.

Harv: one caution on regen breaks in snow - if there is a low setting you should consider using that. The heavier the vehicle, at the point you lose grip, the longer it takes to recover (the engineers/scientists etc can explain the why). Going on lower regen mode in snow slows the deceleration...
