Fair question for a conditions thread, sorry for omitting the good stuff. Conditions were overall quite good for what we’ve been through weather wise. Packed powder all over, scratched off surfaces in what seemed like predictable spots though not nearly as bad as it could’ve been. More loose...

Happy to report a successful trip. The group had a great time, probably going to book it again next year. One thing though, the boot bag storage situation in the discovery lodge is pretty ridiculous. Overlook didn’t look much better when I popped in to use the facilities. What’s up with that?

Showed up with the younger at the crack of 11:30 to minimal crowding. Other than the occasional coordinated herd of freeskiers on Showcase, all was great. Impressive snow quality where it wasn’t skied off. Run of the day was Tahawus (shocker). Looking forward to more!

Check the Gore conditions thread. LOTS of snow. While I’m sure it’s thinned out a little bit in logical places since I was there on Friday, the coverage was excellent (Totally worth the drive, in my opinion.)

Looking like Killington on Wednesday then up to Jay for Thursday with my homegrown ski buddy, despite his mother’s objections. Tired of the fun police.

After scoping it out on the AE2, for some reason my skis didn’t point in the direction of Showcase when given the chance… (all before Noon) Twister was great, Backwoods was quite nice, Echo was fun, Hawkeye/Chatiemac were superb. It’s funny, many trails skied better than the last time I was here...
