I picked up my pass this morning and took one run down the greens from the top. Most of Karyatis was pretty nice. Meadows and Platonic were less than nice with cookies, holes and frozen cat tracks. That said, it was really good to be out. :) Skiing is so much fun! :)

Totally understandable.

When I came off of my horse and fractured my L1, I had a lingering stuck right sacroiliac that was almost as bad as the fracture. It took about three weeks to release.

Try acupuncture. :) Also, Voltaren is amazing! I have been covering for the barn owner's son, while he is (theoretically) elk hunting. My wrists are so sore that I could hardly tie my running shoes. I can't find my brace. :P

That is the key question. We had lots of really nice cold weather, followed up by a quick warm up and rain, and it's back to being cold. Given that, and the fact that they had only two trails top to bottom open, I would guess that it wasn't ideal. I would love to hear differently.

I just spoke with a tech support person from Denver. At the end of the call, I asked about ski conditions. He said that they just got some powder and were looking forward to a good season. :)
