There’s been Hoksters (like hipster slowshoers) our on our local golf course that we ski on, they seem pretty gung-ho on straightlining every slope, I suspect they have a limiting snow depth in which they can actually slide fast enough to be able to turn, or even make it all the way down a hill...

So today, being -26c this AM I decided to rock the woodies on a golf course meadowskip.. To sum it up: worthy and righteous..

Secret Hill sounds like a plan.. sometime this week late afternoon? I usually try to finish work by 3:30, so could be at Hundwalden by 4. Sun set is now around 5:30, so lots of time for some laps.. you ok with this?

No intention of retiring, just going to take a few months off a year in the Winter, probably Jan-February to start. Ramp it up to 4 months off in 4 or 5 years. We owe nothing, nada, zip. So it’s a pretty easy transition to living on less.

My kids are grown and on their own doing fine, my wife is a retired teacher with a good pension (and works part time doing online tutoring). As for me, I’m going to start taking time off in the winter from my job to travel and hang out/live in different locales around the world. Putting the CPP...

Another late afternoon after work ski happened today, yet more meadowskipping.. ...just because. Best of all, it started puking for an all too brief hour. If nothing else, it made for a lovely ambiance.

So another Golf Course meadowskip mini vert farming sesh just happened... this time I dragged along my long time buddy Dave McV - he NEVER says no to a ski. Or anything else stooopid for that matter..

They’re most likely going to be my next ski...

So 7 seasons in, and I’m still feeling the Charger Love.
