My last two times at catamount I've experienced icy conditions is this more than coincidence or do they not do the best job at making snow?

Belleayre was fantastic yesterday!!! Zero ice!! All groomed and ungroomed fluffy stuff. Lots of space, no real crowds. Instructor was very good. I shall return!! Interesting views driving through the Catskills to get there. Like time for some people has stood still.

I read that Catamount had lots of "death cookies". Spring skiing in January I guess?

Candlewood lake in CT is huuuuuge!! But unfortunately there are tons of lakeside houses, with boats and jetskis. Was not the most pleasant paddling we have ever done but it's good to learn how to deal with wakes. And annoying boaters blasting Disney soundtracks.
