Breaking news! If you find yourself in Canada, and anywhere near a magazine rack (a what?) in the near future, look for the latest issue of Ski Canada Magazine. This issue contains is an excellent article by Ian Merringer all about WWHSTA, powder skiing in our region and other backcountry skiing opportunities in Ontario. Also featured are bon mots from NYSB members Jeff LeChef and Telemark Dave. Otherwise, you can can pay $4 and download the issue on Zinio (I've no idea if this works in the USA).

In other news, the view of the snow chair is pretty depressing these days, but I promise to start a Tales From the Hinterland thread once things improve and the woods are skiable.

Merry Christmas Fine sirs

Cool stuff .....At first glance I thought that was a 70's mag, no helmets and the clothes ......Or are those helmets with fake hair ? I could use some as mine is a bit skied off.

Here is a teaser screenshot...that dog gets all the love...again. I'm not saying nuthin about TeleDave getting quoted because I want to keep him in suspense (he's too cheap to get the online version).
