Gore Mountain Conditions

Sun is "out" snowing all morning, with nada on the radar.

Had a great day yesterday. I had my own posse. My two girls ski with me quite often and the youngest's husband met up with us early after work. 4 on topridge is interesting. We saw a lot of people having trouble and it wasn't even busy. That little bit of snow really did wonders. I spoke to one of those single track skiers(sic) and he said doable but you have to pick your spots. I didn't go, too early still for me. Skiing with my girls and Hubby all together is awesome. The eldest Hubby says we have a better chance of seeing God than him skiing. My wife just had a knee replacement sooo maybe we can get her back on skis. Skiing with family is awesome and even special on Christmas Eve. Merry Christmas all...ski you soon.
 
How is it today? Popping up New Year’s Day for my first runs since shoulder brake in January.
 
Pretty great day if you’re dressed for it. Conditions are hard and fast and it's pretty empty for 12/26. On one run around noon I had sunway and quicksilver to myself from the showcase intersection down…when does that happen on a holiday?

Haven’t been to Topridge or summit yet - headed there now but the rest of the mountain is looking good - I would expect upper Echo and hopefully high peaks chair to open tomorrow. 3-7” tonight and then Monday’s warmup and rain looks relatively brief. Should be a pretty great holiday week for the mountain.
