The definitely herd up this time of year. The holiday hunt opens today and runs through the 1st of the year. Chances are if you see 1 you'll see a bunch all together.

Heard stories when I was kid about The Owls Nest In The Allegheny Nation Forest, where over a hundred deer came to hang out together in the wintertime. Mighta been a BS hunting story but I was a kid and believed it. Maybe they still do. There’s elk not too far from there nowadaze. They probably hang out together in the wintertime to boot.
